450 g

cashew nuts

80 ml

maple syrup

1 tsp

vanilla extract

2 tbsp

coconut oil

1/4 tsp

salt

Step by step

  1. Combine the cashew nuts, maple syrup and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir until the nuts are coated with the syrup.

  2. Spread the cashew nuts in a baking tray and roast for 15 minutes in a 180°C preheated oven until golden brown. Set aside and let cool off.

  3. Add the cashew nuts to jug of the KitchenAid K400 blender and mix on speed 5 for about 5 minutes until a paste starts to form. Scrape down the sides if necessary.

  4. Add the coconut oil and salt and blend on speed 5 until a smooth spread forms.
