Berry beetroot smoothie
beetroot, peeled, cubed
Step by step
Place the prepared beets in a saucepan and add enough water just to cover them. Bring to a boil then reduce to medium high heat and cook for twenty minutes, or until fork tender. Strain and set aside to cool.
Add cooled beets and all other ingredients to the KitchenAid Blender, add ice to preference, and blend on the Smoothie setting.
