225 g + 2 tsp

brown sugar syrup

125 ml

water

1/2 tsp

vanilla extract

a pinch

salt

2 shots

espresso

125 ml

milk

Step by step

  1. Measure water and brown sugar into a small saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook until mixture begins to thicken for 9 - 10 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.

  4. Let cool.

  5. Prepare the double shot of Espresso in your favorite cup.

  6. Let espresso cool 5-10 minutes before adding milk in a drink shaker.

  7. Add 2 teaspoons brown Sugar Syrup and shake for 30 seconds.

  8. Fill tall glass with ice and pour latte over.

  9. Add a bendy straw.
