Ingredients

rolled oats

120 g

flour

270 g

sugar

180 g

butter

egg

1 tsp

vanilla extract

bicarbonate of soda

1 tsp

salt

Step by step

  1. For 18 cookies

  2. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  3. Place the butter and the sugar in a bowl of a stand mixer. Attach the Flat Beater and turn the Speed Control Lever to 6 and cream the butter with the sugar.

  4. Add the egg, vanilla extract, water and continue mixing on speed 4 for 2 minutes.

  5. In a different bowl, mix oats, flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt. Change the speed to 2 and add it gradually to the creamed mixture.

  6. Mix for another minute.

  7. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place a tablespoon of the dough per cookie on the tray. Make sure they are well spaced.

  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Cool off on the wire rack.
