Tips for enjoying the burr grinder

Here are our tips for making the most of the KitchenAid machine. You’ll be a master coffee grinder in no time.

Choose whole beans

Buying coffee beans whole and grinding them yourself at home will give you an even better tasting coffee. Whole coffee beans have a longer shelf life than pre-ground coffee.

Brew right after grinding

Grind your coffee beans just before you brew your coffee. Ground coffee oxidizes fast and can quickly lose aroma and taste.

Have fun experimenting

Experiment with different grinds and brew times with your burr grinder and espresso machine to see what works best for you.

Customise your grind

Take advantage of the programming on the burr grinder. You can save customised doses for each brew method, based on grinding time.

Look after your beans

For the ultimate taste, you need beans at maximum freshness. Store whole beans carefully in an airtight container to keep them at their best.
