packed brown sugar

baking soda

Step by step

  1. Put the butter, sugar and eggs in the bowl of a stand mixer. Attached the Flex Edge Beater and mix on speed 4 for 3 minutes.

  2. Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Turn the Speed Control Lever to 2 and mix for another 2-3 minutes until the batter is smooth.

  3. Peel the apples, cut them in quarters and remove the core. Cut the apples in small cubes.

  4. Add the apples to the batter and mix on speed 1 for 30 seconds.

  5. Transfer the batter into a 20 cm x 20 cm baking tin (greased or lined with parchment paper).

  6. Bake at 160°C for about 35-40 minutes. Let it cool before serving.
