Espresso Macchiato means "marked" or "stained" espresso in Italian. The espresso is first poured into the glass, followed by a small amount of steamed milk and foam. Great for those who love a rich, bold taste!
Froth the milk into a "microfoam" that is nearly double the volume of the original milk, using the steam wand.
Prepare the shot of Espresso in your favourite cup.
Top the espresso with a dollop of frothed milk.
Add a sprinkle of cocoa according to taste and serve.
For a dairy free option, use oat milk.
