Apple crumble with oats: easy and healthy
light brown sugar
all purpose flour
salted butter, cut into cubes
Step by step
Peel and core the apples. Slice the apples in eights. In a bowl, toss the apples in the 75 g light brown sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon and ground ginger.
Place the oats, flour, 150 g of the light brown sugar and butter in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the Flat Beater. Mix for 45 seconds on speed 2 until the ingredients are combined.
Transfer the apples to a baking dish and divide the crumble dough over the apples. Bake the crumble for 40-50 minutes in a 180ºC preheated oven until golden and bubbly.
