large onion, peeled and cut into 4

smoked bacon, cut into cubes

500 g

peas, fresh or frozen

1 cube

chicken stock

100 ml

single cream

fresh mint leaves

bouquet garni

Step by step

  1. Insert the 'MultiBlade' in the bowl. Add the onion and bacon. Close the lid. Press Pulse for 5 seconds. Select BOIL P2 and press Start. Step 1 shows on the display. Press Start to confirm.

  2. After Step 1: add all other ingredients to the bowl. Remove the measuring cup and close the lid. Set the cooking time manually to 40 minutes. Press Start to activate Step 2.

  3. After Step 2: press cancel to exit keep warm mode. Remove the bouquet garni. Close the lid. Slowly increase the speed to 10 and leave the machine to run for 1 to 2 minutes. Season to taste with pepper and serve hot.

  4. If you prefer a smooth textured soup, mix at speed 10 for 5 minutes.
