canned pumpkin purée
ground dried ginger
dark brown sugar
Step by step
Add the pumpkin purée, spices, dark brown sugar, vanilla extract and milk to the jug of the blender.
Put on the soup setting and mix until the mixture is smooth for about 30 seconds. Remove the lid and add the espresso. Blend again on soup setting for 2 minutes until hot.
Pour the pumpkin spice latte into two cups and top with whipped cream.
Garnish with star anise.
