Sweet potato chips
Step by step
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. It's best to use small, long sweet potatoes.
Fit the stand mixer with the Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment. Turn to speed 4 and feed the sweet potatoes through the feeding tube.
Add olive oil, salt and smoked paprika to the sweet potato slices and toss to combine.
Preheat the oven to 110°C. Line 2 baking trays with aluminium foil, this will help to crispen the chips. Spread the sliced sweet potatoes into an even, single layer. Place the trays in the preheated oven and bake for an hour. Take out the trays and turn the sweet potato slices. Bake another 45 minutes and turn them again. Let bake for another 15 minutes. Let them cool off and enjoy with a dip.
Tips: These sweet potato chips are best when consumed the same day.
