How do you clean the food strainer extension pack?

The food strainer extension (5KSMFVSP) can be added to the meat grinder (5KSMFGA) to create fine purées and processed fruit and vegetables. After use, clean it with care as follows.

Here are the steps to cleaning the food strainer extension pack:

1. Completely disassemble the food strainer attachment.
2. Gently hand wash all the parts in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
3. If preferred, you can wash the plastic parts and blades only in the dishwasher (top rack only).

TIP: A small bottle brush can be used to help remove the pulp from the strainer cone.

You may find that some foods stain certain parts. These stains may be removed by using one of the following methods: place dishwasher-safe parts in the dishwasher and use a cycle for normally soiled dishes, or rub a small amount of oil or shortening over the stains, wash in warm, soapy water and rinse.
